Hot & Wet

Good, but contains several filler tracks
There are a number of highlights on this album - Knock U Down, You Said, Knock U Down (Interlude), Hot & Wet and It’s Goin’ Down 2nite. However, the majority of the other tracks are middling.

112.
I've seen a lot of negative reviews about this album,I must admit it took me four or five listens to get into it and the style is different to other albums but it's grown on me and is not a bad album.

BANGIN!!!
Once again the angel-voiced boys from Atlanta have dropped a heavy album!! Every tune is amazing. They've been able to come up with a great mix of soulfull, hip-hop and some summer jams....all in one album. They have a song for any type of mood.I must say, RnB is dying out (with the likes of BoyzIIMen and Next god knows where). However, 112 have managed to keep on coming back with heavy tracks and thats what I like about them.Ppl...go buy this album....seriously...you'll love it. Those who know the meaning of true RnB (and not this recent RnB slash pop genre) will feel this album, for sure.

These Guys just can't stop!
Q, Slim, Mike and Daron, are back, and as good as ever b4! 112's 4th album titled Hot and Wet, cements 112's crowns as te king of Badboys R&B soul. The guys have also now signed with Def soul along with America's other greatest R&B group Dru Hill. With guest appearances from the likes of Chingy and Ludacris, track after track leave you wishin the track was longer.Stand out tracks are the title track Hot and Wet with Ludacris, a smooth beat club track, that suits luda's flows perfectly. The album also features a remix of this track, remeniscent of the only you and remix tracks on the first album 112. Packed with ballads as ever, but the mix of ballads and funky R&B beats make the album a 5 star hit.If 112 ever do fade or quit, they have to go down as one of the best four piece R&B groups of our time along with dru hill, blackstreet and jagged edge. this album does nothin to help their cause for this title!BUY IT!!

guess who's back
112's much anticipated return has lived up to its billing - Hot & Wet is the premier RnB album of 2003.Although only coming to mainstream attention in 2001 with part III, the twelve have been kicking it since 1996. This album reflects a more mature sound coming from an established group - while there the sensual tunes such as 'Right Here For U', 'Man's World' and 'Slip Away' remain, it is the more upbeat club tunes such as 'It's Goin' Down 2Nite', the title track and 'Knock U Down' that reflect 112's full talents.Collaboratays with Luda & Joe Budden add depth to an outstanding vocal range - in fact, there is no sound more unique than Q hitting those notes. For once, this is an album that lives up to its Bad Boy Def Jam billing, it is an essential sound. While maybe it lacks the sheer originality of the classic Room 112, it is easily better than Jagged Edge's release 'Hard', which marks it out as a must own. Buy today ....!

What happened to da Twelve?
'Hot and Wet' is the long-anticipated album from 112. 112 are one of R&B's pioneering boy bands, and under the Bad Boy label with P Diddy, they produced countless hits and made great albums. In fact, every song on every album was pretty much fantastic. But now they have left and are recording with Def Jam, so where does that leave their music?I have to say that I was quite disappointed by the album, and 112 clearly have missed Diddy's touch...in fact Diddy did produce a few songs on this album, and these seem to be the better ones on the CD. The title song 'Hot and Wet' featuring Ludacris is a typically 112 song, and is excellent. Other goods tracks include 'Right Here for U', 'Knock U Down', and the brilliant 'Give It To Me'.Unfortunately the list ends there, and amongst the rest of the 17-track album, there's very little that is good to choose from. Of 112's albums, this is clearly the least good by their own very high standards.
