Power Acoustik Car Stereo Combo | CarPlay/Android Auto 7 HD LCD with Capacitive Touchscreen Receiver & (4) 6.5 Speakers | Double Din | CPAAM7-S2

Replaced my son's malfunctioning OEM Suzuki car stereo as a birthday present. Install was easy with the appropriate aftermarket frame and harness.The touch screen is very nice. Setup is easy. Wired Apple and Google functionalty is good. Sound quality is a very nice upgrade over the OEM radio. I didn't use the speakers in this install, but we have a RV camper with some worn out exterior speakers, and I used a couple of the included speakers into those cutouts, and they work great. Very decent sound quality, certainly a step up from the cheap speakers most factories put in vehicles. Put the last two speakers away for future use.

Installed this in my daughter's 2003 Chevy Colorado, speakers and all. Nice head unit, easy to install (especially with no CD player). Features all make sense. Apple Carplay works well (wish it was wireless but for this price I understand). There is an on-screen button to turn off the display at night which is nice. Plays videos from an SD card. Wish I would have installed the backup camera at same time.

For the price its a great unit. Has many found only on more expensive head unts. I..E programmable steering wheel controls, Full features sound adjustments including adjustable surround sound, and equalizer controls with presets. The unit also has adjustable sound levels fo robo voice, Phone, media etc. This helps to create equal sound levels when switching between radio, phone, navagation etc. It only suports USB connection to phone which you should buy a high speed 10gB USB ruggadized cable that's compatible with Android auto or the apple car play . Also dont forget to buy a audio wire cable harness that matches your car audio so you can connect it between your cars harness and the harness that comes supplied with the head unit. Also you'll need to buy a double din dash kit compatible with your specific car. The last item you need to buy is a antanna adapter cable kit so you can adapt from your existing car antena to the back of the head unit. I have to say the tech support is fantastic. you can call them on the phone or email and they answer or get right back to fast. One more item on this unit to be aware of is it ablsolutely needs the firmware upgrade installed when you install lthe system. This is very easy to do with a USB memory stick and it does need to be formated to Fat32 not NTFS. The download and instructions are found on the Mfg web site under support. I had to return the 1st unit I bought as it had a defective AM radio. The AM radio had multilple stations stepping on each other and it was annoying. The 2nd unit was fine. Sound quality accross the board wasa huge improvment from the factory audio system. The included speakers sound much like the factory ones. my original ones were pretty dried out. The built in mic has poor pick up. People say i sound far away and pretty quiet. It does have a Mini stereo din socket pig tail cable on the rear so you can add your own mic or you can just use a Bluetooth ear bud and skip the built in mic. I forgot to mention the unit does have several wallpapers and color options for the backlights like the more expensive usnits have too. Overall im pleased with it and it didnt break the bank. I think its certainly the best bang for your buck. Its feature loaded like units 2 and 3 times the price.

the chargers all came working straight out the pack. the charging light isn’t accurate for all batteries so just monitor the battery while it’s charging so you don’t leave it on too long. the usbc plug charges the battery very fast, maybe 15-20 min.

Worked great at first but didn’t even last a year and it crapped out. Wouldn’t power on anymore.

I gave this product a few months before I decided to give A review. I did not keep the speakers I gave them away. This head unit is the best paying for your buck in non-android Apple CarPlay Head units. This does require a firmware update before real use. I haven’t encountered any issues with this thus far. This is in my wife’s and kids daily driver and they use it constantly and have zero complaints. The only feature it does not have is a high pass filter in the unit. Which means if you are going to run an amplifier to your components you need to use the crossover filter on the amplifier as the head unit does not have a high pass crossover filter.

I took a chance on this and I'm glad I did. No issues with firmware. All the features work as they should including Car Play. Sounds good, not a lot of power but an amp would solve that. For the money this is a great value.

Very happy with this radio so far way better than factory stereo could only use two speakers had to buy two different ones for the doors, but overall would buy again
