I tried several different bags, including other Travelon bags. I got the Heritage crossbody and this one for our recent European trip. The Heritage is a wonderful, useful bag, which my partner carried. THIS bag is perfect for "just the essentials." Features include: RFID that holds a couple credit cards and a passport, a couple of smaller pockets for the necessities, a zippered mesh inner pocket, and 2 outside slit pockets for a phone and something else small (only one is zipped.) No room for a water bottle or coat or souvenirs.. but it's not meant for that! it keeps you minimalist and light as possible while touring a city. If I had to change anything, I would ask for a light colored interior. Other than that, this bag was exactly what I needed to keep my things secure during my vacation.

I am very impressed with the quality, design and the value of this bag, I am going to New York and I wanted a bag no too small not too big to bring with me every day and be worry free. It looks stylish and nice it is not bulky but big enough to carry your money, credit cards and much more it has more room that I was expecting, also a little light so you can see inside better. I just love it, this bag is going places with me. Thank you for making smart quality affordable things.

I got this for a 2-week trip abroad. It has plenty of room for my passport, wallet, phone, and other essentials. The locking zippers were great for peace of mind going through crowded marketplaces. The reinforced mesh and wire strap were also nice to have. Lightweight and comfortable to wear. It may become my regular bag now that I'm back . . .

I felt comfortable carrying valuables in this bag through three countries known for pickpockets. The secure zipper tabs and sturdy strap brought peace of mind wherever I walked.I only wish the bag were larger, or expandable. It barely held my travel papers and a small notebook. Anything more than that, and the bag would bulge and not zip closed.

This purse holds so many things. I had my wallet, sunglasses, & GoPro camera in it. It's comforting to know that it's waterproof too. I put it to the test when traveling in various ports in England and Portugal where it was raining. It truly was waterproof. I like the various zippers to tuck things I need to get to on a moment's notice (like my Sea Pass for the cruise ship). You won't be disappointed in this purse. I viewed so many other purses before choosing this one. So glad I did!!

The answer is yes. Travelon is a go to brand along with Baggalini for travel and everyday carry bags. I chose this one because of its medium size, rfid shield, locking zippers, and sturdy shoulder strap. It holds exactly what I need when traveling. And it looks good in teal!

Overall, it's a great purse. It has some weight without being too heavy and great compartments inside and easy to carry and lock everything. However, is a little big if you're only carrying a few things so most useful when you have bigger items. However, the aesthetic is annoying because almost since the time I got it there has been a permanent crease on the front as you can see in pictures. There's a reinforced piece like cardboard under the top zipper that's causing it to fold at that point. Makes it look frumpy and worn.

This bag is very secure and roomy. I don't carry a lot of stuff, so this is the perfect size for me. I like that it has the locks on it to secure the pockets on the outside. The strap is reinforced so the bag can't be cut away. I also like that it has a strap on the inside to keep my keys and a little flashlight. I like that it is has a thin profile so it will be close to my body. It is very stylish as well.
