High quality dog bed (your cats will love it too)
OK so I want to start off by saying- I did try cheaper beds first. The cheaper beds I tried are less fluffy, NOT waterproof, and the material gets worn and even torn up pretty quickly. So I bit the bullet and I bought the more expensive bed, and i am SO glad I did. It's beautifully made, just a simple dog bed - you can take it apart for easier cleaning - and if you're lazy like I tend to like to be I suggest getting the blanket by this company as well to put over the bed ( and get something to hold it in place too.. I use the bed sheet clips that look like suspenders to hold the blanket over the bed ) this way all i have to wash if there is any mud/ or messes is the blanket! I take a lint roller to the actual dog bed and it's usually good to go.My dog prefer to be off the ground so I also actually have this on top of an elevated dog bed ( with the rubber mat center ) . This bed is THICK ! My dogs probably think it's my bed mattress! With their old bed they very rarely used it, now I have 3 dogs and 3 cats trying to get on this bed at all times. Another bonus is the nice neutral look to it, it is not an eye sore at all.If you're wondering if it's worth the money- it is, I promise

Bed dog bed ever!
We purchased this bed in 2019 plus an extra cover, and it’s so awesome, I’m back on Amazon to buy one for our new puppy. It is very high quality, thick and comfortable, plus the cover is easy to clean and swap out. I’ve purchased may beds that are $30-$50 but not one is anywhere near as nice and long lasting. This is with the extra cost. I keep it in the crate most of the time but will send it to the dog boarder so it gets moved a lot and still looks like new!

6 years and counting
Purchased in November of 2019, so I can confidently say it is worth every penny. At the time it was a blessing for my aging pitbull's comfort. After she passed, our next (bigger, stronger, wilder) rescue bully inherited it. After nearly six years of constant use, the padding of both the bed and the bolsters has not flattened or faltered. Right in the center the fabric is ever so slightly starting to fade, but that's after all of these years and being stripped and washed every few months. The dogs have never minded!I understand that it's expensive - however, last year I purchased a $100 knock-off to use as a secondary bed in my office, and with only being used for a few hours a few days a week, it's already going flat as a pancake.

Senior dogs will love this bed!
The comfort is obvious, my senior (15y) dog had been miserable trying to sleep and I needed the side support to corral her in place as she is constantly readjusting positions and had been tossing herself off the bed in her sleep. Now she can stretch out on stretchy days as I sized up to the bigger bed, and comfortably curl up on snuggly days. Very nice cloth cover that cleans easily and sturdy base and padding, easy to zip together. Highly recommend.

Had 9years, Best for painful joints! A+ quality, Cleans well!
Seriously, the best! We’ve had ours for almost 9 years! Holds up great and cleans really well. Excellent high quality fabric! I’m back to buy two more only because our newest Pup had a bad chewing stage and literally ate through the bolsters. We travel with them too because it is so comfortable for our Black Labrador that has chronic hip pain. We have the 36” x 28” size and she is 55lbs. Our larger Golden Retriever and our Border Collie also love it and fit in this size although our dogs sometimes like to cuddle so we are going to get at least one larger one. The 36” x 28” size fits nicely in our suv and F-150 truck during road trips. Worth the extra spend!

Dogs love it
Bought another version from them several years ago. This one has a gel mattress vs the foam on the old one. While it feels better, its not as thick as thr previous one and that makes the bottom of the beds fabric very loose. Like sheets that arw too big, if that makes sense! Otherwise, a great bed that my dogs love.

Expensive But Worth It!
If you're here reading this, you might be like me, who'd gotten so sick of cheap dog beds that go flat in months. Usually the cheapies run 40-50 bucks a pop, and it feels better to spend less at the time, but in the long run you're killing your wallet. 50 bucks once a year (or more) adds up over a dog's life.I finally said ENOUGH and bought a bed from one of the biggest names in luxury pet beds, which my dog absolutely hated. (It was about $60 more expensive than this one for the comparable size - eek!) A dog's preference is its own; can't blame the manufacturer for that, but let me just say I overall wasn't impressed with the feel of it either.I looked at SO many beds, but finally settled on this PetFusion one after seeing so many great reviews. We bought a Large for our dog, who's about 45 lbs, Cattle Dog mix - kind of a beefy, stocky gal. She's 9 and has some joint and back pain, we suspect. (Which will make you laugh if you look at the pics because she does willingly contort herself!)She LOVES this bed, especially the bolsters. She lays all over it and sometimes uses them as headrests. She's on this bed every night for usually 8-9 hours, and has been since November. She never seems anxious to get off, even after a long night. This bed hasn't showed even the slightest sign of flattening. I am so impressed at the quality and how it's true memory foam (not that cheap eggshell junk). It is so comfortable - I know, I have tested it! It honestly feels just as supportive as our own (not inexpensive) human mattress!I love this bed because it's extremely easy to maintain. I bought a pair of fitted crib sheets from Walmart that fit perfectly on this, and change them frequently. Then I just give the underneath a quick wipe down with a wet rag and voila. Our dog got a tiny bit of blood onto the actual bed surface this one day, and even when it was dried for several hours, the blood came right out with some Ecos Oxo Brite and cold water on a rag. Super easy! I have not needed to launder it, so I can't speak to the zippers or ease of that part. I suggest to save yourself hassle and buy the crib sheets if you buy a Large bed...All in all, I couldn't be happier with this bed, and I suspect it's going to really last for a long time. We're getting a second dog soon, and I won't hesitate to buy a second one of these. Fantastic product worth every cent. Buy this bed, you won't regret it.P.S. - Just because someone gave it a bad rating here or there because their mischievous dog ripped it up, that's not the bed's fault. Unless you want your dog to sleep on a concrete slab, I'm pretty sure most dog beds are susceptible to a heavy chewer...
