The Gator Grip arrived quickly....Didn't know what to think when I opened the box. But, man was I surprised. This is the first holder that I've ever bought that actually stays stuck to the glass. The grip on the phone is superb. The flexible part stays in place down some the roughest washboard back roads. Well done guys, you have developed an excellent product at an excellent price. Keep it up. Keep in mind folks, when you buy this item, you are buying from an AMERICAN owned business too. That means something.

I bought two of these for my tractor trailers. One suction cup worked perfectly the first time I installed it. It is still (3 weeks later) exactly where I stuck it. The second one took a little work to get it to stick. The rubber was uneven and would not seal. It took about 10 minutes to get it to work. If it doesn't stick the first time, use a little water to wet it. It finally sealed to the window and has been there since I installed it. Both still holding very tight now. The arm is long so it does bounce a lot in the cab of a semi truck. So I positioned the arms where they would rest on the dashboard and the phone would extend beyond the dash. Overall works very well, clip holds tight and is easy to put the phone in and get it out. Be careful where the arm and the clip meet is a little fragile. I broke one of mine where it screws together while installing it. But once you tighten it down with the threaded nut, it clamps it all together doesn't seem to be effecting it. Both are working well.

Started off okay and seemed like it would work great. Took it on my first road trip, to hold my phone for GPS ease. The things shakes pretty bad but not intolerable. My issue is somehow the phone holder keeps working itself loose and pretty soon your phone is looking at the floor. Also, the pin that hold the clamp in place came out so now it barely holds the phone at all. The clamp is all cocked sideways. So on my first decent road trip (390 miles) it fell apart. Good concept, product didn't hold up well at all. Suction cup works well though.

I haven't had this long but initial impressions are positive. The arm is longer than what you usually find in stores, at least compared to what I have found. It sticks to the windshield good but I usually don't have a big issue with that aspect. The clamp that actually holds the phone is what attracted me to this one. I've used plenty of the cradle types and I guess they did an ok job of holding the phone but they've never really been anything to write home about. But this one, it's not a cradle, is more like a clamp. Sure it may take two hands to to of it in the and clamp and take it out, it's just spring loaded, but it holds your phone. I mean it really holds your phone securely. I use a Note 5 in an Otter Box Defender.

Broke within one week! Would not buy again. This shakes all over, hard to view as phone is not steady. Using iPhone 6 Plus. Placed in trash after grip snapped off. Money down the drain. This is not sturdy at all. Stay away!!

The suction is pretty strong, the arm works fine. I like the clamp. The big reason I gave it a 3 star rating was because while driving it bounces like crazy and the ad makes you think it's longer than it really is. I do know what 11 inches is and trust me so does my wife..... But it looks smaller than it should be on the gator grip.

Works awesome! I have an LG V10. It fits great and holds the phone very well. It has gotten pretty cold outside and it is still stuck on my window.

The Gator Grip works perfectly. As a hands free device for my cell phone, but allows me easy, stable access and minimizes any inherent distractions it could cause. Thanks for introducing me to a safer and expedient way to use my cell phone while driving.
