Great heath benefits
Like that the tea offers great health benefits. It does not have much flavor and tends not to fully mix with hot water. It clumps up and leaves quite a bit of residue and unincorporated powder at the bottom of the drink.

Versatile and fun ingredient
Really fresh subtle flavor. I blended mine with warm milk. Very relaxing and soothing. You could add it to almost anything. The color is amazing!Nice size for the money too.

Got this for natural blue food coloring!
I got this because you can use it as a very NATURAL blue food coloring. Blue is REALLY hard to get naturally. You can bake with this, use it in smoothies, or even make beautiful frozen desserts with it. A little goes a long way in regards to coloring stuff too.LOVE that it is also vegan and marked as such on the package. Although it is pure butterfly pea powder so it would be vegan anyway - still like to promote the veganess of things. : )Some people drink it as a supplement. I would personally add it to a smoothie - as then not only is the smoothie even prettier - it is also that much better for your health - as the blue butterfly flower is good for your body. Personally I can drink it as a hot tea - but the taste is not really my thing. Pretty, for sure. It is only OK in taste for me - but I would much rather drink plenty of other teas.So I will continue to use it here and there when I want a pop of blue color in my food or drinks. I have not tried it yet for alcoholic drinks - but I am going to give this a good whirl on my next cocktail night - whenever that will be these days...

Stunning Blue Color... From Nature!
This powder is absolutely magical! It's a beautiful, bright blue when mixed with something white or neutral in color. Butterfly pea powder not only makes things a beautiful blue color naturally, but it's also a fun science lesson! If you add a few drops of acid to it, such a lemon juice in a butterfly pea lemonade, the blue color changes right before your eyes to a bright fuchsia color. It's just so pretty, and no matter how many times I do it, it still gets me all excited to watch the color change! I'm still a six year old at heart I guess. The first time I tried this I added it to a smoothie for a fun color twist, but was rather disappointed that it was more purple than blue... But then I remembered that there was fruit in the smoothie that contained a small amount of natural acid, which will change the color, so if you're not getting a vibrant blue color, be sure you're not mixing it with anything containing acid.

This is phenomenal
I ordered this to use as food coloring for my kids (dye allergies), and I am happy to report that thanks to chemistry and creativity I can create several colors from the blue powder. I also really love that its mostly flavorless and adds a boost of nutrition to the goodies I make for them!! This mama thanks you for the ability to give my babies colorful foods! Thank you!

Natural blue coloring with antioxidants
I don't bake often and even rarely do I use food coloring, but I'd read about the antioxidant properties of the Butterfly Pea Powder and how this ingredient is often used in Southeast Asian (Thai) cooking. I found that when I added some butterfly pea powder, I didn't notice a change in taste or texture but did get a beautiful deep blue coloring. I like that this is a healthy ingredient that adds the antioxidants in my food.My dietitian often says to "eat the rainbow" or to get a wide variety of colors in my diet. This is one easy way to up my nutrients.
